Our main goal in everything that we do as an organization is to stay true to our mission: "To reduce the number of homeless pets through adoption, rescue, and spay and neuter programs."
If you've lost your pet, please visit the Humane Society of Yuma in-person as soon as possible. Each month, hundreds of lost dogs & cats find temporary, safe shelter with us.
Please do not email us for lost or found pets. If you have found a stray animal please contact your local animal control agency.
HSOY and Avenir present Critter Country - Wanted: Adopted or Rescued. The event will be on March 9th from 5pm - 10pm at Britain's Farm. There will be dinner, casino gaming, and live and silent auctions. Come join the fun and raise some funds for the homeless, sick and injured animals of Yuma. Tickets can be purchased at this link. https://humanesocietyofyuma.salsalabs.org/crittercountry2024
Join us for our 4th Annual Quilt Auction dedicated to supporting the Humane Society of Yuma and the furry companions we care for. Our talented volunteers and supporters have poured their creativity and love into crafting beautiful quilts, each a unique piece of artistry. From vibrant patchworks to elegant designs, there's something to suit every taste and style. But more than just blankets, these quilts symbolize comfort, compassion, and hope for animals in need. All proceeds from the auction will directly benefit our animal shelter, providing essential care, medical treatment, and enrichment programs for our furry friends.
